Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Sheltie Tales!

I am adding a new link to Winning Duncan Over. I've found another great Blog from a Rescue Group in Utah chronicling their activities with the Rescued Shelties! Check them out!

Hello Duncan! We have just discovered you over on the Sheltie Tales site. We're so happy that you have found a fur-ever home after having spent 8 years in a horrible puppy mill. We'll start reading your bloggie from Feb 07 onwards, as you have suggested. Is it okay to link your site to ours?
We're two Shelties from New Zealand and we would love to be friends with you. Come and check us out on

if you like.

Hi Josh and Jess! Glad to meet you!Yes I would love to exchange links! I've added yours! I recently found "Sheltie Tales" myself and just love it! Have you ever been to SheltieNation.com ? One of my very favorite sites. She posts pics sent in from Sheltie lovers all over the world. You should send in your "Killed the squeaky toy!" pic. The Sheltie Nation readers would love that one!
