Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

Wow, I have had a very busy week! I've spent this week at my church's World Conference in nearby Independence, MO. Poor Duncan has been spending a lot of time alone this week since I've been in legislative sessions all day, and at evening worship services. I'm looking forward to spending a few days relaxing with him. I am worn out!

It seems there has been a great deal going on here while I was gone. My email to Sheltie Nation with Duncan's picture has resulted in a post to their site with a link here! See Duncan on Sheltie Nation Here! This has really increased traffic on Duncan's blog and is really getting his story out. I am so excited! Thanks to Sheltie Nation for sharing!

As a result, I have received numerous comments from other Sheltie Lovers with great encouragement and suggestions. Thank you all for your kind words! I am so thrilled every time I receive comments! Keep them coming!

I have also received a link from another blog and am returning the favor both here and in my Nav area. Check out The Adventures of Bea and Byrdie!

Awww, how nice of you to link back over to my girl's blog! Blogging sure can be fun eh? Especially when you meet such nice people, like you. I've had my blogs for a while and have picked up some ways to add neat things to them, so if you ever need any help, let me know!
