Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Would you like to meet Duncan?

Duncan and I are going to go back to Petco (1 block east of 75th & Metcalf in Overland Park, KS) this Saturday, April 7th, to visit the Rescue Group that I adopted him from! The Adopt-A-Pet days are the first and third Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We'll try to be there around 10:30 am, but neither Duncan nor I are a morning person/dog so don't hold it against us if we're a few minutes late! Come meet him and visit all the pets up for adoption. Consider adopting your own new best friend! Duncan will be wearing his blue Easter bandanna! You can find Directions Here if you need them.
