Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

New Featured Adoptable - Faith

Ok, so she's not a Sheltie, she's a Collie. But the folks at LL Dog Rescue have done a wonderful job with her. I met Faith at the last Adopt-A-Pet days and let me tell you, she is wonderful! Faith was found by a creek, grossly infested with maggots and ticks, that were eating her alive. She was rushed to the vet where she was treated for heat stroke and flushed of the maggots and treated for ticks. The heat stroke caused her to loose the use of her front legs for a couple of days. She was treated and is recovering and undergoing physical therapy. You can read her full story Here as well as see videos of her during her therapy.

Faith does not know a stranger. When I met her at Petco she was the sweetest thing. She has to walk around and say 'Hi' to everyone, but she's very quiet and calm. She will come up to you for a pat or a hug, whatever you're willing to give. Faith had to be shaved in order to be treated for all her medical problems, but her coat is starting to grow in nicely, and before long she will be a beautiful Collie again!

Won't someone open thier hearts and home to this wonderful, deserving dog in need? If you're interedsted in Faith check her out further at Petfinder.com or email LLDogrescue at lldogrescue@yahoo.com.

Here is Faith, we all love. Now that I have learned more about making videos, I can't wait to make her home coming one. She is a VERY PRECIOUS DEAR. She has truly moved our hearts.
Thanks for posting her.
