Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Featured Adoptable - Rosa
(And Faith Too!)

Meet Rosa! She is a four year old Sheltie also rescued from a puppy mill. She is an incredibly sweet girl, just like my Debbie! Rosa is also very timid, but I can already see a great improvment in her confidence. The first week that I saw her at Petco she was nearly paralysed with apprehension. She did not look around at all, but sat in her kennel looking right in front of her. She seemed to be hiding and withdrawing into her own little world. The one around her was too much for her to deal with. However, she had come out of her little shell a great deal since then. This Saturday she was altert with a great positive attidude. She seems to have bonded with Glen her foster dad nicely and likes him very much. She will make whoever adopts her the focus of her life and will be a very adoring and devoted little Sheltie - again, just like my Debbie!

Also, don't forget about Faith! This sweet sweet Collie still needs a home too. She's an older dog, but is so full of love that she deserves to have a great home and family for the rest of her days.

Won't you consider adopting one of these special deserving animals?

Tatha,
Thank you for these beautiful posts. Rosa is so sweet and words can't even express the love Faith has. Her videos on Petvideo.com are in the most viewed and the top rated. I can't wait to make her adoption video. It's title should be "Coming Home".
Many Thanks,
Barbra
