Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Sit Pretty!

Here is Debbie at obedience class on Saturday "sitting pretty." Isn't she so cute!? I've been splitting the time in class half way between Duncan and Debbie. We take our kennel and Debbie will wait in it for the first half while Duncan strutts his stuff, and then it's Debbie's turn.

Ok, so "Sit Pretty" wasn't part of the class, but she was having trouble with "Down" and wanted to show off what she did know!

Thanks to Barbra for catching this shot of Debbie and I!

What a beautiful, adoring little girl. That was a great shot, thank goodness I wasn't trying for it. :) Debbie was just perfect. She is one of the most adoring litle Shelites I have ever known. You are her life and her love. Thank you for taking such loving care of her! No wonder she is your protector. She loves you so much. "Oh, Happy day, Oh Happy Day.............".
