Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Play with me Duncan!

Poor Duncan. I think Debbie is becoming a bit too enthusiastic about playing for his taste. She bounces around him and ON him so much in the yard sometimes that I think he's had enough. But she keeps chasing after him and leaping at him and around him and on him and over him... He hasn't lost his patience with her yet... But boy she sure is learning to love to play!

Hi, Tatha!!

Debbie sounds just like Rex, and poor Duncan just like Logan. Logan likes to run and chase and play SOMETIMES. Rex like to run, chase and play ALL THE TIME. Poor Logan can't even go potty without Rex jumping all over him sometimes. Logan just makes the obligatory snap over his shoulder in hopes that Rex will get the idea. Rex only leaves him alone when Rex feels like it, not because of anything Logan does!! You know Logan, there's not a mean or aggressive bone in his body. He just gracefully puts up with Rex's "wild child" antics.

Talk to you soon,
Lynne
