Welcome to Winning Duncan Over! You will find in these pages the story of a Shetland Sheep dog who spent 8 years as a puppy mill stud dog before being rescued. Duncan's rescue is only the beginning of the story however. A great deal of time, work, love and patience is needed to turn an abused puppy mill dog into a happy and healthy pet, and that is the story told here. If you would like to read Duncan's full story I recommend that you start in the Archives at the left with February 2007 - when it all began for me, Duncan's guardian. Thank you for visiting Duncan's site, and please tell a friend!

Sheep for the Shelties

I was at a store last night searching for some fabric to cut into bandannas for Duncan with pinking shears. I found the most adorable fabric. I'll be attaching a picture here shortly, but it is a green fabric with red and white checkered hearts and little sheep! So I am going to cut some of these up and sell them for a donation of like $3 or $5 or something and donate the proceeds to LL Dog Rescue.

Please note: These will not be hemed or sewn, just cut with pinking shears (the cute jagged edge that slows fraying.) I will also use adhesive velcro so you don't have to mess with tying among your Sheltie's fur! If you would like one, I will be at the At Adopt-a-Pet days at the Petco in Overland Park this Saturday with Duncan. Or, if you are not in Kansas City send me an email and we can work something out like mailing me a money order, or paying via PayPal. I may put these up on Ebay as well! I got some other really cute fabrics too!

So! Make a donation to the Shelties and get yours a great bandanna!

I've added pictures. Isn't Sparky the best bandanna model?
